My work investigates how materials carry relations across time and territories, and how events continue to operate within them.

Working across drawing, sculpture, photography, moving image, sound and installation, my practice often begins with a material or a field observation. Through research and material experimentation, I follow the histories, circulations and temporalities already implicated in what I encounter.

I am interested in what is not immediately visible: how one territory can contain another, how different times coexist within the same material, and how extraction, displacement or absence can remain materially inscribed.

My process involves operations such as layering, burying, erasing, excavating, reinscribing and displacing. Rather than illustrating the histories I encounter, I use these operations to construct images in which relations and temporalities can become perceptible.
